What is a sublimation transfer?
Your design is printed with special inks onto transfer paper. Under heat, those inks turn straight from solid to gas and bond into the polyester fibres — so the colour lives inside the fabric, not on top of it.
Order the printed transfers on their own and press them onto your own light polyester garments — there's nothing to feel, nothing to crack, and nothing to peel afterwards.

No coating sits on the fabric, so it stays fully breathable and soft — perfect for performance sportswear.

Pressed at high temperature, the ink sublimates into gas and enters the polyester fibres.

Good to know
- Polyester only
- Sublimation bonds to polyester. It won't work on cotton — for cotton, choose DTF or a screen printing transfer.
- Light colours only
- The inks have no opacity, so they don't show on dark fabrics. Best on white and light garments.
- No special effects
- Metallic, fluorescent or raised effects aren't possible — for those, look at screen printing or 3D transfers.

2. You press it on
Press the paper onto light polyester at high temperature so the ink can turn to gas.
3. You peel the paper
Lift the paper away — the colour is now inside the fibres, with nothing left on top.
4. It's locked in
As it cools, the pigment is sealed permanently into the fabric — for the life of the garment.

Frequently asked questions
The process starts by printing sublimation ink onto transfer paper with an inkjet printer. The prepared print is placed on the textile and pressed at high temperature. At sublimation temperature the ink sublimates into the polyester fibres, and after cooling the pigment is locked into the fibres.
Because of how sublimation works, the printed graphic is practically impossible to wash out. The only way to "remove" it is mechanical wear of the textile itself.
No — sublimation only works on polyester. Cotton/polyester blends exist, but we don't recommend sublimating them as the colours aren't vivid enough and the print is more prone to wear.
No — sublimation inks have no opacity, so they can't be used on dark textiles.
